The Town Council of Eastport consists of seven elected councillors. The Mayor and Deputy Mayor positions are elected from within council. Councillors each take a role on in-house committees as well as liaise with outside organizations. Council is responsible for policy development and governance of the municipality. Council meets the second Wednesday of each month, unless notified otherwise. Meetings are held in Council Chambers at the Town Hall. Anyone wishing to attend a meeting to address an issue or concern can do so by contacting the town clerk in advance to make arrangements.
